Sultansuyu Dam is designed for irrigation purposes and was built on Sultansuyu River in Malatya. The scope of work for this earth fill type dam includes 1.350.000 m3 of excavation and 3.200.000 m3 of filling while the height of dam is 55 m (from foundation) and the crest length is 721. The derivation tunnel which was constructed within the framework of this contract has 397 m lenght and 4,5 m diamater.
