The Kadıköy-Kartal Metro Project, undertaken by a partnership including Yüksel İnşaat, consists of 8,888 meters long double track subway tunnel. The breakdown of tunnel works is as follows: 12,328 meters (6,164 x 2) of bored tunnel (EPB-TBM) and 5,448 meters (2,742 x 2) of deep tunnel (NATM). The Project starts at Kadıköy Square Dock Boulevard and follows Ibrahimağa Boulevard to the E-5 highway at Koşuyolu, then, it runs parallel to this road and ends at Kartal. The Project also includes the excavation, support and design of 7 underground deep tunnel station (1 tunnel with 2 tubes , 6 tunnels with 3) and 500.934 m3 platform tunnels.
