This project includes the construction of 51 km. 2 x 2 highway starting from Kora (40 kilometres northeast of Erbil city) and continuing to the Zap River via cities of Shaqlawa and Harir. It also involves the construction of 2 x 935 m. and 2 x 380 m. tunnels and more than 5,300,00 m3 of excavation in hard soil.
