This project is part of the Istanbul Drinking Water Phase II Project, which is the second largest project after GAP (Southeast Anatolia Project). The job included an 84-meter reinforced concrete and earth-fill regulator, a 116-meter concrete spillway without gates, a steel pipeline that is 6325 meters long and 2.5 meters in diameter, the Melen Pumping Station, the Cumhuriyet Pumping Station and two main depots each having a capacity of 26,000 m3.
