As part of its 50th anniversary celebrations, Yüksel İnşaat is sharing its athletics journey, during which it has provided support for training young athletes and their competing in international platforms for the past 18 years, with the “Yılmaz Sazak Photography Lane Exhibition” open for visitors in Esenboğa Airport, the heartland of Ankara.
EXHIBITION, A SELECTION OF PHOTOGRAPHS
The Yılmaz Sazak Photography Lane Exhibition is comprised of a selection of photographs taken at the Yılmaz Sazak International Athletics Meetings by academicians and students of Maltepe University Faculty of Fine Arts and Faculty of Communication and Istanbul Photography and Cinema Amateurs’ Association for the past 9 years.
General Director of State Airport Authority for Esenboğa Airport Yılmaz Keleş, General Director of TAV Esenboğa Airport Nuray Demirer and Senior Vice President of Yüksel İnşaat Bülent Güngör attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition held in Ankara TAV Gallery which was established with a mission of culture-art platform at Ankara Esenboğa Airport which is run by TAV Airports.
The Senior Vice President of Yüksel İnşaat Bülent Güngör said: “As Yüksel, we are very pleased and proud to celebrate our 50th Anniversary. Throughout a half century past, our priority target has always been not only to look after our economic interests but also to do business with a sense of responsibility towards our society and all our stakeholders.”

Mr. Güngör added: “I would like to thank the TAV Management once again for their full support to us in this journey that we have taken with an aim to contribute to the society, our valuable children and their futures through Yılmaz Sazak International Athletics Meetings. And for you to experience this enthusiasm and passion of athletics live on site, we invite you to the 18th Yılmaz Sazak International Athletics Meeting to be held on Saturday 1st of June in İstanbul Sadi Gülçelik Sports Complex.”
One of the successful athletes who have been supported by Yüksel İnşaat since 2009 within its individual sponsorship project “Rising Stars”, Pınar Aday’s mother Naşide Aday, who was also an athlete in the past, also attended the opening cocktail and there were some emotional moments. As a mother and a sportswoman, Ms. Aday also thanked Yüksel for their full support to her daughter and the athletics.
YÜKSEL IS GIVING A CHANCE
Yılmaz Sazak International Athletics Meetings which was first organized by Yüksel İnşaat in 1996 under the leadership of Yılmaz Sazak, who was one of the co-founders of Yüksel İnşaat and the former President of the Athletics Federation, brings together young athletes at different age groups with the purpose of providing an opportunity for them to compete with other athletes in international platforms as well as promoting Turkish athletics. Being one of the top three Athletics Meetings in the 12-17 age group category in Europe and with a total of 79 records being broken so far, Yılmaz Sazak International Athletics Meetings provide a chance for young athletes to have an international experience. The exhibition will be open for visitors in May in Tav Gallery, Ankara.
