King Faisal University Infrastructure Projects

The King Faisal University Infrastructure Construction was undertaken by Faisal Electro-Mechanical Co. Ltd. and Yüksel Construction Saudia Co. Ltd. and completed in under 3 seperate contracts (Phases 1, 2 and 3; 4 and 6). The project is located in the Saudi Arabian city of Dammam on an area of 2,000,000 m2, approximately 400,000 m2 of which is created by reclaiming.
Some of the major works completed within the scope of above mentioned contracts are the followings: 3,000,000 m3 of sand fill, 3,000 m2 control building, 1,800 m3 underground water tank, 300,000 m2 road construction, 930 m riprap, thirteen cooling tower and cooling unit each having a capacity of 1,300-ton, water treament plant with the capacity of 1,200 m3/day, sewage treatment plant with the capacity of 2,100 m3/day, 85 lt/sec sewage pumping station, 250 lt/sec rainwater pumping station, LPG system, piping network, communications systems, the electrical working in buildings including control systems.
