Baysh dam is located in the Baysh Valley, 113 km far from the city of Jizan in Saudi Arabia. It is constructed for flood control and irrigation of farmland. Baysh is a concrete gravity type dam having a 340 m long crest which is 120 m high from the foundation level. The total reservoir capacity of the dam is 192 million m3.
