Yüksel İnşaat Brought In the Muratlı Elementary School to Teaching and Education

After completing the Muratlı TBMM 8th Anniversary National Sovereignty Dam and HEPP Facilities and the Borçka-Muratlı road, Yüksel İnşaat remodeled the building it used as offices and a guest house during the construction of the dam and road to serve as an elementary school. After turning over the school building to the National Education Ministry Artvin Provisional Directorate, the Muratlı Elementary School was opened to teaching and education on 14 September 2005 in a ceremony attended by Selim Şahin, Provincial National Education Branch Director, İ. Zeki Kızılkaya, District National Education Director, Ogun Bahadır, Borçka District Governor, Oral Küçük, Mayor of Borçka, and Kadir Kahraman, Chief of Muratlı Village along with students, locals and Yüksel İnşaat officials.

As part of the conversion of the existing building into an elementary school, repairs and remodeling included replacing the stove heating system with central heating, replacing the window frames with durable PVC frames, putting new doors on the classrooms, pouring fresh cement in the schoolyard, installing ceramic tile in the bathrooms, building a theater stage and painting the school building. The two-storey building used as the project headquarters during the construction of the Muratlı Dam was given to the National Education Ministry and the building used as the kitchen and dining room for the construction site were given to the Office of the Muratlı Village Chief along with the kitchen supplies for use as a wedding salon.
