The projects aim to help resolve İstanbul’s growing traffic congestion between Taksim and Yenikapı.
Taksim Unkapanı Section: This section includes 4,029 metres of bored tunnel and one metro station in Şişhane.
Unkapanı Yenikapı Section: This section includes 6,270 metres of bored tunnel and construction of two metro stations in Yenikapı and Şehzadebaşı. The Yenikapı Station is designed as a station for the LRTS too.
