The project is located on the north-south line parallel to the sea shore between the cities of Jubail, Dammam and Al-Khobar, which are located in Saudi Arabia’s industrially developed eastern region. The purpose of the project is to transfer 500,000 m3/day treated water from the New Marafia Desalination plant in Jubail Industrial region to the city of Dammam passing through the cities of Safwa, Qatif and Sayhat via a main steel pipeline, the diameter of which varies from 60″ to 76″ and via steel water tanks and pumping station. The job also includes connecting of the main line to city network via 24″ and 36″pipes, and improving / upgrading of existing water distribution system in the Eastern Region of Hofuf and the mixing stations.
