Second lot out of 1334 km long three pipeline construction tender packages were built to transmit Azerbaijani gas to Europe. The contract includes the construction of 371,35 km, 56″ diameter pipeline.
Starting from the Georgia border, TANAP cross Turkey in east-west direction and connect to TANAP Project (Trans Adriatic Pipeline) in Greece border. The volume of natural gas to be transmitted with the project will increase gradually. The annual gas transmission capacity of the project is expected to reach 16 billion m3 in 2018; 24 billion m3 in 2022 and, 31 billion m3 in 2026.
