The scope of work is the upgrading of an existing 23 km highway from 2×2 lane to 2×6 lane; demolishment of an existing bridge at the Al Awis Intersection and replacing it with two 6 and 7 lane bridges as well as expansion of existing Al Amandi Intersection.
